The AI resume builder that never invents your experience

ResumePay is a free AI resume builder. Upload your resume once, confirm what's true, and get a resume tailored to every job you apply for, written only from facts you've verified, each one traceable to its source.

Free to start: 500 points with a school email (.edu), 200 with any other.

How it works

  1. Upload your resume

PDF, Word, or plain text, up to 10 MB. AI reads it into a career profile of your roles, projects, skills, achievements, and education.

  2. Confirm what's true

Verify, edit, or reject each item. Only what you've verified, or what your own documents back, is used in a resume.

  3. Tailor it to each job

Paste a job posting to see how your evidence matches each requirement, then get a resume aimed at that job. Export it as PDF, Word, or plain text.

What you can do

Every claim traces to a source

Each employer, date, metric, and achievement comes from something you provided, your resume or your own answers, and you confirm it before it's used. Nothing is fabricated.

See how you match a job

Each requirement in a job posting is checked against your verified evidence: what you can prove, how strongly, and where the gaps are.

A resume for every job, checked by Fact Lock

Branch a job-specific resume from your one verified profile. Fact Lock flags any line that isn't backed by a verified fact, and every version is kept, so you can compare and revert.

Read it as an ATS, a recruiter, and a hiring manager

Three lenses show how each reader sees your resume, and the ATS parse preview shows what an applicant tracking system pulls from the exported file.

Resumes for other countries

Localize a resume for the United States and the United Kingdom in English, the United States and Mexico in Spanish, or China in Simplified Chinese, the way resumes are written there.

Interview prep and application tracking

Practice likely questions, draft STAR stories from your verified achievements, and track every application with its status, notes, and cover letter.

Questions

What is ResumePay?

ResumePay is a free AI resume builder that tailors your resume to each job using only facts you've verified. You upload your resume once and confirm what's true in your career profile; every resume, localized version, and interview story is built from that verified evidence.

Is ResumePay free?

Yes. Creating an account is free, and once your email is verified you get 500 points with a school email (.edu) or 200 with any other. AI actions cost points: reading a resume costs 5, analyzing a job 8, and tailoring a resume 10. Everything else is free, including PDF and Word export. Each friend who signs up with your invite code and verifies their email gives you both 100 more.

Will the AI make up experience I don't have?

No. ResumePay writes only from the facts in your verified career profile. Fact Lock checks each AI-written line against those facts and flags anything it can't trace to a source, and AI suggestions change your resume only when you accept them.

Is it useful for students and new graduates?

Yes. A school email (.edu) starts with 500 points instead of 200, and Internships lists openings gathered daily from employers' careers sites and job sites, which you can filter by distance from your US ZIP code.

Will an applicant tracking system (ATS) read my resume correctly?

You can check before you apply. The ATS parse preview shows what an applicant tracking system pulls from your exported file, and the ATS, recruiter, and hiring-manager lenses point out what to fix.

Which countries and languages does it support?

Resumes can be written for the United States and the United Kingdom in English, the United States and Mexico in Spanish, and China in Simplified Chinese, following how resumes are written in each place. The app itself is in English, Spanish, and Chinese.

What happens to my data?

Your career data is used to do the work you ask for. AI providers aren't permitted to train on it unless you opt in, and product analytics are off by default. You can download all of it, or delete it, at any time in Settings.
